Hush created a magical woodland wedding venue just outside of Norwich – the ideal place for lovers of the outdoors to tie the knot.
They approached us to update their existing branding, which was struggling to convey the full nature of their business.
Having spent time taking in the full site and working with the owners, we began the branding process by creating the narrative ‘be yourself together’. This reflects Hush’s motivations and their desire to give people the freedom to fully enjoy their wedding day.
Aiming to steer well clear of the usual clichéd wedding aesthetic, we wanted to bring Hush’s surroundings and laid-back attitude into their identity.
Drawing influence from nature, we handcrafted a logo from seeds – reflecting the dappled light seen through the trees at Hush. A combination of the background show-through and letter spacing helps the logo to convey a sense of calm.
We continued the organic feel of the brand onto Hush’s marketing collateral, creating backgrounds made from shapes taken from the main logo, and creating a natural colour palette of earthy tones.
The full Hush rebrand is due to be rolled out this summer – we can’t wait to see it in action.
