A behemoth by creative agency standards, DigitasLBi has 44 offices in 26 countries.
Each year DigitasLBi throw a huge rave at their Brick Lane offices, hosting a thousand of the industry’s best and brightest. This year they worked with experiential agency C&IB to create Devotion, a quasi-religious, ritual-filled concept based on a bacchanal.
We were tasked with creating the branding, collateral, signage and providing visual direction for the moving imagery.
Discovery and Design
Our solution took in a variety of influences from the worlds of religion, secret societies and the occult mixed with a dash of 70s psychedelic art.
We created a large main identity illustration which gave us the building blocks for the rest of the identity. We added to these with a variety of tongue-in-cheek religious verses, colours selected from DigitasLBi’s own rainbow palette and some additional cult symbology. We used this toolkit to apply the brand to a wide variety of collateral including neon signs, bottle labels, robes, animations and temporary tattoos.
The event was a huge success, helping to keep DigitasLBi’s profile high to both clients and potential employees.
On a personal note, it has to be one of the weirdest and most fun jobs we’ve had the pleasure to be involved with!
